Overview - When you visit Vancouver, you will hear the term “Hollywood of the North” associated with the city, due to the numerous movie and TV productions being filmed in Vancouver. Indeed, Vancouver is a beautiful city and offers a wide variety of activities (and good food) for anyone. Though 24 hours is probably not enough to see all these great places, here are some of the highlights of this wonderful coastal city.
Breakfast - Blue Parrot Café serves some of the best organic coffee and sandwiches on this side of the coast – and the view from their Granville Island location – overlooking Falls Creek– ain’t half bad either! Try a cup of their brew of the day and a toasted bagel with cream cheese while you watch the rainbow-clad Aquabus ferry tourists and locals alike.

The heart of Spain is the epitome of everything Spanish. Kilómetro Cero, a plaque marking the start of roads at the center of Madrid, somewhat metaphorically signifying all traffic radiates from Madrid to all corners of Spain and ultimately finds their way back into this splendid capital. Located at Puerta del Sol, this bustling square also has the emblematic statue of ‘El Oso y el Madroño’ (the Bear and the Strawberry tree) which is synonymous with the origins of Madrid.
