Breakfast - One of the best places to start your day will be at The Paramount in Beacon Hill. Surrounded by the oldest neighborhood in the city, this place has amazing pancakes, french toast, or egg sandwiches. But be prepared for a long wait on Saturday or Sunday.
Morning - After filling up at The Paramount, you can beginning walking tour of Boston. One of the most walkable cities in the world (except in the winter), Boston is best seen on foot. If walking all day sounds tiring, the "T" (Boston's subway) is convenient to almost every neighborhood. Hop onto "The Freedom Trail" and check out the historic sites of the city, including Paul Revere's house, the State Capitol building, the site of the Boston Massacre, and more.
Lunch - Get some amazing dim sum in Boston's Chinatown at China Pearl. The food is fresh and tasty, but be prepared to jostle for a spot in line. Chinatown is right next to downtown.
Afternoon - To take a break from sightseeing, take a walk from Chinatown through the Boston Common and the Boston Gardens. You'll also find the "Cheers" bar right next to the Boston Common. Continuing west, you'll find yourself on Newbury street, where the best shopping in Boston can be found. Boston is known for its ice cream, and some of the best ice cream shops are setup along this street. If this is baseball season, then you might want to try and catch a game at historic Fenway Stadium. Nothing can compare to the passion of BoSox fans, and cheers of Big Papi!
Dinner - A trip to Boston is not complete with out a meal at Giacomo's in the North End (Boston's Little Italy). Homestyle, delicious Italian food is what is served. If you can stand up after a hefty meal, head on over to Mike's Pastry for the best cannolis around.
After Dark - The best place to catch a drink is at The Top of the Hub, atop the Prudential Building (Boston's 2nd tallest building). The view is amazing and free!
Sleep - Boston hotels can be expensive, but you can find some great deals at some of the boutique B&Bs. Look to stay in the Back Bay neighborhood for easy access to the rest of the city.
