Breakfast - Austin is the “Live Music Capital of the World”, but of course you know that; this is a major reason you are here. Austin is not so much about sightseeing these days as it is about hanging out in music venues and cafes, and that’s where you’ll find other music lovers for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and beyond. For breakfast, one of my favorites is Kerbey Lane Café, which is open 24 hours. It’s cozy and homey, and it attracts a typical mix of musicians, students, professors, and hipsters – many of them recovering from the night before. One of my favorite breakfast spots is Cisco’s Restaurant Bakery & Bar, continue reading ...

The Cafe serves up a kid-friendly menu of cereals, eggs, baked good, and about continue reading ...

Everybody knows it; everybody claims to go there at least once a week. Trudy’s is known for migas – at breakfast or at any time of the day, and a large Tex-Mex and southern menu. They have continue reading ...
